World Bank statement on the death of Joseph Grieboski
The Global Bank family announces the unexpected death of Mr. Joseph K. Grieboski, head of the North American representative office of the World Bank.

Under the leadership of Grieboski, the Permanent Delegations of the World Bank in North America served as a hub for the World Bank’s activities in United States, Canada, and Mexico, strengthening relations and promoting cooperation between the World Bank and host countries and development partners. For Grieboski, the World Bank was an extension of his ministry and his legacy.
